Description
The project consists of the construction of a standalone extension to existing school with the removal of existing ball courts and the construction of new basketball court in a new location. The build was a single storey traditional block construction including substructures, blockwork, partitions, pv panels, structural steel Kingspan purlins with Kingspan roof finishes with extensive roof lights installation, acoustic sound ceiling finishes, high mechanical and electrical input including a dust extractor unit and ventilation, fitted furniture including teaching walls, engineering benches and Pastoral office, new gas and ESB services. The extension was to facilitate new music room, engineering room, construction studies room, 3 classroom, project stores and Engineering pre-room.Martins Construction Ltd carried out the services of Main Contractor and PSCS during the course of the works.
