Description
The project consists of the restoration of existing stone stable block (a protected structure Ref: K27) to provide a new café and restaurant. The project included a new seating area on ground floor and a new mezzanine floor, staff / customer toilets, office space, new mechanical and electrical installations ,site works and associated site services to support the wider facility in promoting local heritage. The works were carried out while the visitor attractions museum / exhibition space and reception remained open.
The project consisted of lime render to internal stone walls, window restorations and repairs, new external timber doors, polished concrete flooring, mezzanine glass balcony, roof reinforcement and specialised lead lining to dormer window vents. On this project we acted as Main Contractor & PSCS.
